Ferry & Barge Schedules
As St. John is a separate island in the US Virgin Islands, arriving guests will need to take a ferry boat from St. Thomas to get to St. John. The two primary ways for guests to travel between St. John and St. Thomas are the passenger ferry and, if guests rent their vehicle in St. Thomas, the car ferry barge. A third option is a private water taxi which can be arranged in advance by contacting the CimmaronStJohn concierge team at [email protected]. Passenger ferries and car barges are boarded on a first-come-first-served basis. Tickets must be paid for with cash and cannot be purchased in advance; however, a round trip ticket can be purchased upon arrival.
