Our Guest Services personnel are at your service prior to your arrival and at all times while you are vacationing on St. John
Contacting CimmaronStJohn Guest Services upon your arrival in the beautiful US Virgin Islands will help to ensure a trouble free transition to your vacation home. We will be expecting your phone calls or text messages from the St. Thomas Airport (or whatever port of entry you arrive at) and again when your are boarding the ferry on St. Thomas to St. John. Upon your arrival on St. John, your party will be met by a member of the CimmaronStJohn Guest Services team who will assist you in picking up your rental car(s), if applicable, and then escorting your party to your vacation home. If you arrive on the passenger ferry from St. Thomas, your ‘Greeter’ will be waiting at the end of the ferry dock as you disembark. If you rented your vehicle(s) in St. Thomas, you will be transported to St. John on the car barge ferry which departs only from Red Hook in St. Thomas. When the barge lands on St. John, you will exit the dock area to the street and there you will be met by a member of the CimmaronStJohn Guest Services team who will escort your party to your vacation home. In either case, your ‘Greeter’ will be holding a welcome sign with your last name on it. Once you arrive at your vacation home, you will be given a brief orientation of the vacation home, its features/amenities and to some of the traditions unique to our island home. Your ‘Greeter’ will also provide keys to the property and detailed instructions regarding procedures to follow when departing at the end of your vacation.
Welcome Bag & Information Binder
When you arrive at your ‘Island Vacation Home’ you will find a complimentary, custom designed Welcome Bag in the fridge complete with beverages and snacks for your party. You will also receive a Welcome Folder which contains current copies of the St. John Guidebook, Maps and the Places to Explore book as well as a welcome letter, guest response form and miscellaneous last minute information on activities, special offers, etc. Additionally there is a Guest Information Binder at the Property which contains complete information on the villa and ‘how to’s’ on operating and using all the equipment and amenities you will find there. This Information Binder also includes a wealth of information on island life on St. John, including information on most St. John restaurants, activities, and duty free shopping locations.
The CimmaronStJohn Guest Services department is generally staffed weekly from Monday through Saturday (and during our Holiday and Peak Seasons on Sundays!) from approximately 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Our knowledgeable staff looks forward to assisting you with their comprehensive local knowledge in recommending the many ways to spend your days and nights on St. John. From boat trips, snorkeling and diving excursions, sunset sails, dining options, various water sports, hiking trips, shopping excursions, etc., we will be happy to assist you with the arrangements. Download the CimmaronStJohn Mobile App and have everything you want or need to know about St. John right at your fingertips. This valuable FREE app includes up to date information on things to do on St. John such as duty free shopping, restaurants, activities and much more. The CimmaronStJohn Mobile App also gives our guests specific information about their particular rental property including instructions on how to use systems and villa features, WiFi passwords, security codes, driving directions and much more. Additionally, our registered guests will receive periodic ‘push notifications’ from CimmaronStJohn informing them of special events, activities or health and safety information. The App is fully ‘cached’ so that all of the information will be available whether a guest has cell phone service or is temporarily out of the service area.
One of the primary goals of CimmaronStJohn Guest Services is to ensure that all of our Properties are meticulously maintained and are the cleanest vacation homes available on St. John! We keep cleanliness is high regard and you can be assured that your vacation home has been thoroughly cleaned prior to your arrival. If your vacation home receives a complimentary mid-stay tidy up during your stay, your greeter will let you know when the housekeeper will be there and of course, if that timing is not convenient, we can arrange a more convenient time. Arrangements for additional housekeeping services, at your convenience and cost, may be arranged by contacting our guest services concierge at the CimmaronStJohn Vacation Rentals office in Cruz Bay.
We take the extra steps to make sure that all of our Properties in perfect mechanical condition when you arrive and throughout your vacation on St. John. Because of our extensive routine and preventative maintenance programs we are confident that your vacation will be as trouble free as possible. Because there tend to be ‘jumbies’ occasionally at work on St. John, the CimmaronStJohn maintenance staff is available 24/7 to assist you with any maintenance issues that you may have during your stay. We guarantee that we will respond quickly to any maintenance concerns and to repair/resolve the issue — all with the least disruption to your vacation.
