The Cottage Condo

The Cottage at Battery Hill Condos is an intimate, recently renovated queen studio cottage perched on the hillside overlooking Cruz Bay Harbor. Perched on the hillside overlooking Cruz Bay Harbor, The Cottage is conveniently located within walking distance to the village of Cruz Bay and an eclectic assortment of duty-free shopping, activity centers, taxi stand, and a variety of first class restaurants for casual or intimate dining. The closest beach is at Frank Bay which is also within easy walking distance from The Cottage and offers a mostly pebble beach with pockets of sand and some excellent snorkeling. Because of the close proximity to Cruz Bay, guests at The Cottage may find that renting a vehicle during their stay is truly optional. For guests who do rent a vehicle, Battery Hill Condominiums has a large, private off street parking area with adequate room for parking a rental vehicle.
The Cottage is a cozy, air conditioned studio suite with queen sized bed, a small dining area and a ‘corner kitchenette’. The Cottage is well suited for guests who prefer to dine out but the availability of a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, hot plate, toaster, blender and dishes will provide adequate facilities for occasionally 'dining in'! The wall facing the harbor view has two large sliding glass doors which provide a panoramic view of Cruz Bay Harbor and the Caribbean Sea. These doors also have sliding screens which will allow for the glass doors to be opened to allow the refreshing tradewind breezes to cool the living spaces. Another sliding glass door leads to a small private balcony complete with a table and chairs where guests can enjoy an intimate morning brunch or ‘sundowner’ cocktails in private setting with inspiring views of Cruz Bay Harbor and the village.
The Battery Hill pool (shared only with guests from this 9 unit condominium complex) is just steps from your front door and features sunny areas with loungers and tables as well as a shaded area with additional loungers and tables . With sunlight from early morning to late afternoon and awe-inspiring views, the pool is situated in an unbeatable location on St. John. Adjacent to the pool deck is a communal BBQ grill and the free guest laundry facilities . Whether you spend your time relaxing around the pool deck or exploring all of the incomparable beaches, hiking trails, shops, and dining experiences St. John has to offer, your stay at The Cottage at Battery Hill is sure to become one of your favorite St. John memories.
The Cottage is professionally managed and maintained by a duly licensed and insured on-island Property Management Agency. Our staff are ‘locals’ who live on St. John year around who intimately know the island of St. John and specialize in providing unparalleled hospitality services for our guests. We are the experts on St. John and are best equipped to provide knowledgeable, up-to-date advice about all relevant activities, features and amenities which are available to enhance our guests vacation experience.
Building construction on St. John may from time to time occur adjacent to one or more of our rental properties. Presently, there is such a building construction project ongoing adjacent to the Battery Hill Condominiums. This project may cause some objectionable noise at the Panacea Condo and we apologize for this inconvenience but wanted all prospective guests to be fully informed about this issue.
Please note that the rates posted on this site are for 1-2 guests and do not include applicable taxes and fees. One additional guest may stay, but must be a child 12 years of age or younger. The third guest will be charged at the rate of $30/guest/night.
If both 12/25 and 12/31 are requested together, a 10 night minimum stay may be required.
